Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study evaluated the effect of dietary calcium levels and limestone particle size distributions in first-cycle of Golden Montazah layers on performance , egg production and egg quality. A completely randomized experimental design in 3x4 factorial arrangement (three Ca levels – 2.8, 3.0 and 3.2%, and four limestone particle size distributions – (100% fine, 50% fine and 50% coarse, 25% fine and 75% coarse, 100% coarse) was applied, totaling 12 treatments with three replicates of eight birds each. Limestone consisting of fine (F >0.6 mm) and coarse ( 1.9
